To whom it may concern,
I am writing to you for a position (R & D) as an Organic Chemist. I would like to apply for this position in your company.
In September 2005 I received my Ph. D. in the field of Organic Chemistry (Supramolecular Chemistry) at the Kekulé Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, at the University of Bonn.
Since July 2007 I am working as a Postdoc in the research group of Prof. Tieke at the Institute for Physical Chemistry (University of Cologne) in the field of Polymer Chemistry.
My research interests are in Organic Chemistry with a special focus on the development of multi-step organic synthesis, different chromatographic purification methods and spectroscopic characterization (NMR, MS, UV, IR) of new organic compounds in dendrimer and carbohydrate chemistry.
I have published six research articles, all in well recognized international chemistry journals with high impact factors and I also have gained significant and relevant professional experience in the chemical industry.
