Our customer Roche Diagnostics Ltd. in Rotkreuz, Central Switzerland, is part of Roche’s Diagnostics Division, the world market leader in in-vitro diagnostics. More than 1000 well-qualified employees develop and produce technologically groundbreaking analysis instruments, test reagents as well as innovative IT platforms, information and service solutions. These products provide medical decision-makers with actionable health information and thus support first-class medical care of patients. On behalf of our client, we are looking for a professional with a strong technical background responsible for the marketing of diagnostics systems in the business unit "Decentralized Solutions”. The following position was created to support the product portfolio of established point of care test instruments and new developments.
International Project Manager Medical Devices Ambulatory Care and Monitoring Solutions
This function is an interface position which includes responsibilities within life cycle of a product line (decentralized solutions) and management of projects from the further development to market release. The product portfolio comprises diagnostic solutions for point of care and ambulatory care, used by patients and medics.
Your Tasks: - Contribute in global programs to secure short- mid- and long-term targets of "Decentralized Solutions”. Secure product quality and delivery in cooperation with global functions. Manage multifunctional projects (in matrix). - Analyze the market with regard to future trends (market, technology, scientific). - Cooperate with internal and external partners to transfer product and product line concepts and requirements into technical specifications. - Elaboration and validation of product requirements and product specifications for products which reflect market needs. Alignment of those specifications with internal functions (R&D, Technical Support, Operations, Global Marketing) and external partners under consideration of economic, technical and medical impact. - Proposals for actions to modify the product portfolio. Management of the customer input to projects. Responsibility for necessary trade-off decisions. - Monitoring of product developments with regard to the commitments made to the markets and customers (timeline, quality, specifications and costs). - Secures the timely availability of all deliverables required for product launch. - Monitoring of product quality, costs and availability for products or product lines. Initiation of countermeasures in case of deviations from the targets.
Your Profile: - Degree in Life Science or Engineering with an emphasis on Healthcare or Medical Technology. - Experience in product and project management. - Well-organized and able to manage priorities. - Excellent presentation and communication skills (oral, written). - Proven experience in technically and market driven project teams and experience with international stakeholders within a large international company. - Demonstrated ability to stay informed of current market / industry trends and technologies to stay prepared for emerging customer needs. - Business orientated and a good understanding of economics. - Excellent knowledge of English, good understanding of German would be an asset.
