GlycoVaxyn AG is a young and dynamic start-up company that develops vaccines against bacterial infections. To strengthen our development group we are currently looking for a research assistant with an education as biological laboratory technician or an equivalent degree.

Job profile:
• Purification of recombinant proteins (FPLC by AEKTA)
• Analysis of recombinant protein products (ELISA, SDS-PAGE)
• Support the team in performing experimental work optimization of downstream process, scale-up and process validation of recombinant protein products
• Collaboration with process development and molecular biology

Your profile:
• Experience in protein purification and protein biochemistry
• Good hands-on experience in the following techniques: chromatography (FPLC) and filtration
• Know-how in protein analytics: SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, HPLC, protein determination and ELISA
• Knowledge in immunology and immunological techniques will be of great advantage
• IT knowledge (MS Office)
• English (spoken and written)
• Good communication skills, team player
